Hello!! Thank you so much for visiting The Opal. I've been doing several new designs with a focus on smaller, and light weight earrings. I myself rather not wear a heavy earring to preserve my ear hole as I am not in my 20's and 30's anymore : ) Even my earrings with stones are designed to be comfortable and light.

Hello! I'm Lori
I am a true Libra striving for balance, and my jewelry style is no different. With an attraction to beauty in simplicity and a desire for creative expression, I think my pieces take on an earthy, yet classic vibe. I enjoy using different stones, textures, and oxidation (a process to darken) which adds character to the handmade, artisan quality.
You will see many of my pieces featuring or marked with the spiral, a sacred symbol that represents soul consciousness, the spiritual journey of life, and evolution. As I am forever grateful to be blessed with the desire to create, faith-based designs are genuinely a part of my work.
My passion for making jewelry fulfills and nurtures my soul, and the fact that it brings JOY to people has been unexpectedly gratifying. I think that part of this journey is to show people that if you have a desire to create, just DO IT! It's never too late, and the rewards are abundant.
